Phil Derrico had a passion for family, friends , food and story telling. These passions came together in 1975 when rico's pizza opened its's doors.

December of 1975 rico's Pizza opened in the basement of the former Party Tap .The building is located at the corner of Stateline Avenue and Ridge Road in Lansing.  After several years of hard work, rico's Pizza moved to our current location at 3651 Ridge Road.

The original menu consisted of few sandwiches and pizza with the choice of 5 toppings.  Although our menu has expanded  bit over the years, we continue to operate under the same principals of family, quality, and value. The sign shown here is the original sign that was hanging in party tap when Phil opened.
